The
Style, fit and finish of a product is determined
by the tooling department. So we always
take great care of the moulds which are
being processed in-house. We regularly follow
preventive maintenance for the moulds as
per preventive maintenance schedule.
We have full-fledged tool room equipped
with basic machinery to maintain and modify
the tools . Recently we have also installed
design set up using PRO-E and
AutoCAD-2005 software . For the
development of the new product our PDC
(Product Development Cell) department
takes up complete responsibility from
concept to design, design to prototyping,
prototyping to production stage utilizing
in-house as well as subcontracting resources.
On an average we are developing tools
for about 50 new components
every year from well equipped tool makers
in Hosur and from Bangalore.
We involve ourselves totally in the design
and manufacturing of the tools conforming
the quality as well as timing even though
they are sourced from outside tool rooms.
Recently our lead-time are 30-40
days for the first off sample, which we
are working to minimize further.
